About Megan

Megan Bishop has spent the last 12+ years as an orthopedic physical therapist in Los Angeles, specializing in integrating her manual skills with strengthening to treat the system as a whole. She specializes in visceral manipulation, nerve work and cranial sacral therapy. She is also a movement based practitioner, internationally certified in RedCord and Pilates, to help the body restore its strength and stay in motion. A new mom herself, she has worked the last decade with pre and postnatal patients to help restore a mom’s core, pelvic floor and overall function.

She started her alternative nerve work journey with an idiopathic neuritis that no doctor could help… but a PT could! She had to know more, and has spent the last 12+ years taking classes with Barral and the Upledger Institute. She is a teaching assistant for visceral manipulation in California.

Megan recently moved to Orange County to be close to her husband’s family. You can find Megan hiking, snowboarding, taking a Yoga or Pilates class, baking, or hanging with her son at home.
