About Morgan

Dr. Morgan Naim is an Orange County native with an extensive background in health and wellness, fitness, and kinesiology. Integrating her knowledge of the role of the pelvis in movement with her passion for dance and cheer, Dr. Morgan uses her background in research-based preventative techniques to deliver the best care to her patients.

Morgan graduated Summa Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While at SDSU she worked on several research projects, even conducting her own research study on injury/re-injury rates in high school/college-level female cheerleaders to determine how to best “prehab” this population. Following her graduation from SDSU, she went on to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California, which is consistently ranked as the top physical therapy program in the nation.

While pursuing her doctorate degree, Morgan completed clinical rotations at well renowned health care facilities and worked in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient men’s/women’s pelvic health, orthopedics, sports medicine, and neurological and inpatient ICU/ rehabilitation. It is through these experiences she found her true passion for treating pelvic floor dysfunction. She realized that more often than not the missing piece to the puzzle when it comes to rehabbing patients is the pelvic floor as these muscles are typically negated in traditional physical therapy.

Morgan truly is an advocate for all things pelvic health. She has given multiple presentations, organized, and participated in events all geared towards educating and empowering men and women alike about pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic floor physical therapy. She became such a huge advocate for pelvic floor physical therapy after being a patient herself and seeing all that could be done to help stop the suffering. Her shared experience truly allows her to emphasize and connect with her patients. Morgan’s true passion lies in treating men and women with pelvic pain, whether that be sexual pain, pain with voiding, or Sacroiliac/ Low back pain that won’t seem to go away and working with pre and post- partum patients. After becoming a mother herself, this is now one of her favorite patient populations to treat. She understands that birth is a trauma to the body and rehabilitation should be an integral part of care. Morgan is also a certified pre and postpartum corrective exercise specialist.

Morgan does not rely on a cookie-cutter approach when treating her patients; instead, she focuses on developing a treatment plan that is specific to her patient’s goals, hobbies, fitness level, and lifestyle. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels. Morgan’s main goals are to empower her patients, help her patients leave physical therapy equipped with the knowledge and skills to prevent re-exacerbation of symptoms, and improve their quality of life.

In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her son, husband, and dog, running, hiking, camping, traveling, dancing, and exercising. She also teaches group fitness classes, equipped with the knowledge to prevent injury, cue sound body mechanics, and provide modifications to keep her clients moving at their best. Catch one of her spin classes or jump in to one of her boot camp classes; her energy and passion for making people feel good is contagious.
